Railgun Rewatch 2021: Season 1 Episode 16
your home is where you can be yourself.
Summary: kurozuma and konori's past is revealed. in the present, they move to take down big spider before antiskill can.
Overall Rating: 7/10
Uncomfortable Moments: 1 (man they got so close to not making it weirdly horny)
i am so happy konori got a nice little backstory. konori and kurozuma are very cute together and not at all annoying, thank god. plus, she rocks that leather jacket.
i also really love that the main quartet is so...well-balanced. like, misaka has some blind spots due to being a level 5 that saten is able to fill in from her level 0 perspective. they make such a well-rounded group.
not sure what misaka's disdain for letting the past affect you is (she would probably do well in therapy if she thinks like that lmao), but i think i thought exactly like that when i was her age, too. so, like...okay! she has a bit of character development! cool!
konori wearing both her leather jacket and her judgement armband is so...mmmm yummy storytelling. we love to see the unifying of past and present identities.
and konori KICKING ASS??? WE LOVE TO SEE A GIRLBOSS WINNING!!!!
for one of the episodes that doesn't have kiyama in it, this is a good one. fun to watch, full of character depth, and satisfying as hell. a lot of good quotes in this one, too. yummy.
