summary: judgement investigates an esper-hunting gang known as skillout, a "reckless group of level 0s".
overall rating: 6/10
uncomfortable moments: 2 (juuuust kuroko)
THIS!!! this is where they hit us with the new opening!!!! i'm very excited about this. it means i'm finally halfway done with this season.
if there's one thing i can say about the skillout arc, it's that it's...forgettable? literally this entire second half of the anime has left my brain completely. i know it has something to do with telestina, and the climactic ending scene is an extended version of the opening. that's it.
god, i do not like telestina. i am not looking forward to seeing her.
anyway, things i liked about this episode: looking into konori's backstory, that peaceful guitar arrangement of dear my friend, the continuation of saten's character arc, and the design of kurozuma. :3
something i'm noticing now, which i appreciate about the entire season, is that the use of abilities is directly affected by music/sounds. idk, as someone interested in music cognition, i appreciate how the story kind of revolves around this concept.
anyway, i thought this episode was kind of boring, but like...whatever. it wasn't Bad.
